Adventures at NAMM '26
Every year when I attend the NAMM Show, I have a very different experience. And whether I go there with someone or on my own also changes the flavor of the weekend. This year, whilst contemplating my NAMM '26 adventure, to sum it up, I'd say it was all about people connections. Some of my NAMM friends that I see every year were not in attendance for one reason or another, and some that I haven't seen for several years were there. End of Year Wrap Up...
Happy New Year from The Music Soup! Although I'm not sad to see the back end of 2025, I'd like to mention some high points of my year. One of them at the top was absolutely without a doubt September 21st at Shoreline Amphitheater, covering The Who's farewell show . Standing a couple feet in front of Roger and Pete for the entire show will be one of the fondest memories of my life. Musicians Making a Difference
The Redwood Empire Food Bank , and the music of Todd Snider provided to be two good reasons the house was packed with music lovers in Sebastopol at the Hopmonk Tavern.
